Screenwriting

"To make a great film you need three things – the script, the script, the script."

– Alfred Hitchcock

Still-Shot

Close to 50,000 scripts are registered with the Writers’ Guild every year. Of those about 5000 get optioned. Of those about 500 are actually sold… fewer than that get produced. The odds are terrible so why do I do it? Because I love it. It’s my passion. To me there’s nothing more exciting than creating complex characters and sending them on a journey.

I’ve optioned 10 scripts or treatments, my movie Lucky Christmas is an annual Hallmark Channel favorite, I have two produced shorts to my credit, another going into production soon and I’ve won several awards. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished, but honestly, I feel like I’m just getting started.

If you want to collaborate on a story or are looking for a short or feature script to produce, I hope you’ll be in touch.
